Closing The Sale

Closing the sale of your Peoria home doesn’t have to be a complicated process. In fact, we made it easier by providing the information you need.

Presentation of the offer

The negotiations process begins once an offer has been presented, but until it has been accepted and agreed to by both parties, it remains in the negotiations stage unless one rejects the offer or counteroffer outright. Here are some things to keep in mind about the closing process:

undefined undefined undefined undefined· Because your attorney has a limited time to protect your interests, having him review your contract quickly is imperative.

undefined undefined undefined undefined· You must comply with all requests of the buyer’s lender and/or appraiser in a timely manner.

undefined undefined undefined undefined· A buyer typically accompanies a home inspector to the inspection. Allow approximately two to threechours for the inspection.

undefined undefined undefined undefined· We will coordinate all activities and update all parties on the process.

undefined undefined undefined undefined· If repairs are called for, we will negotiate repairs noted during the inspection.

undefined undefined undefined undefined· If a buyer’s walk-through is in the contract, we will schedule this. The property must be in the sameccondition or better than it was when the agreement to the sale was made.

We will handle the details and coordinate the process so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
