Closing The Real Estate Sale of Your Peoria Home

Closing the sale of your Peoria home doesn’t have to be a complicated process. In fact, we've made it easier by providing all the information necessary.

Presentation of the offer to purchase your Peoria real estate

The negotiations process begins once an offer has been presented, but until it has been accepted and agreed to by both parties, it remains in the negotiations stage unless one rejects the offer or counteroffer outright. Here are some things to keep in mind about the closing process:

  • Because your attorney has a limited time to protect your interests, having him review your contract quickly is imperative.
  • You must comply with all requests of the buyer’s lender and/or appraiser in a timely manner.
  • A buyer typically accompanies a home inspector to the inspection. Allow approximately two to three hours for the inspection.
  • We will coordinate all activities and update all parties on the process.
  • If repairs are called for, we will negotiate repairs noted during the inspection.
  • If a buyer’s walk-through is in the contract, we will schedule this. The property must be in the sameccondition or better than it was when the agreement to the sale was made.

We will handle the details of your Peroia home sale and coordinate the process so you can relax and enjoy the proper real estate experience.

We’ve also included a handy worksheet "What You’ll Net at Closing" to help you determine what you’ll get after closing on your Peoria home.
